Upon completing his book, Todd recognized the opportunity to further support students in mastering the narrative writing process. This blog was created to guide aspiring authors in honing their skills and applying fundamental writing techniques to their stories. Todd’s goal is to inspire others to embark on their own creative journeys and craft their own engaging tales.
Todd Gray’s Books
Camp Hero Book #2 (Summary): Nate, Tate, and Kate thought their summer session at Camp Crusader was challenging, but they couldn’t have been more wrong. Nothing could have prepared the newly trained superheroes for the brutal, high-stakes winter intersession run by the infamous Blackrock Academy.
Alongside their friends, Logan and Anne, the trio is thrust into an unrelenting series of trials, each more grueling than the last. Will an epic, no-holds-barred game of capture the flag, battling an enormous ice Kraken with an appetite for destruction, or dealing with an out-of-control case of indigestion stop this unconventional group of heroes from uncovering Blackrock’s hidden agenda before it’s too late?
As the camp session spirals into chaos, Nate, Tate, Kate, and their friends must summon every ounce of courage, skill, and teamwork they have left to confront challenges that will leave them questioning everything—and everyone—they thought they knew. It’s a battle unlike anything they could have imagined.
Camp Hero Book #1 (Summary): It was supposed to be a relaxing summer vacation filled with hanging out and playing video games for the Larson children. That was until Kate, Nate, and Tate discover a mysterious mom-velope, sitting on the kitchen table, announcing they are being sent to a previously off-limits sleepaway camp in the middle of the Colorado mountains. An incredible adventure begins when the siblings discover they have been sent to a top-secret camp to train children with hidden superhero abilities. However, as if mastering a new superpower wasn’t challenging enough, Kate, Nate, Tate, and their newfound friends, get mixed up in a decades-old plot to destroy Camp Crusader. Will the friends be able to locate and protect a powerful ruby that contains the soul of a madman before it falls into the wrong hands? Or will Kate, Nate, and Tate’s plan be foiled by an army of skunks, cinnamon roll obsessed campers, and the cow-pie-eating camp bully?
