Author Todd Gray

Todd Gray is a seasoned elementary school educator with over twenty years of experience, primarily teaching 4th grade in Sacramento, California. Balancing a life filled with working with foster children, reading to his dog Lucky, telling bad “dad jokes” and managing his four energetic children, Todd found the time to write two humorous fantasy novels aimed at children, teens, and adults alike.

Upon completing his book, Todd recognized the opportunity to further support students in mastering the narrative writing process. This blog was created to guide aspiring authors in honing their skills and applying fundamental writing techniques to their stories. Todd’s goal is to inspire others to embark on their own creative journeys and craft their own engaging tales.

An incredible adventure begins when the siblings discover they have been sent to a top-secret camp to train children with hidden superhero abilities. However, as if mastering a new superpower wasn’t challenging enough, Kate, Nate, Tate, and their newfound friends, get mixed up in a decades-old plot to destroy Camp Crusader. Will the friends be able to locate and protect a powerful ruby that contains the soul of a madman before it falls into the wrong hands? Or will Kate, Nate, and Tate’s plan be foiled by an army of skunks, cinnamon roll obsessed campers, and the cow-pie-eating camp bully?
